COVID-19 Update Monday, March 16, at 4:22pm
At the River Valley Regional YMCA, the safety and well-being of our members, staff, volunteers and the broader communities we serve have always been and will always be a top priority.
We have been diligently monitoring all national and local updates surrounding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. In order to best ensure the health of our entire Y community, and base on recommendations from the Governor, we have decided to close our YMCA facilities to the public for two weeks effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020. The YMCA will continue to reassess the situation and will provide updates as we receive them from our local health agencies. We encourage all members to continue to stay physically active. We will be sharing ideas and videos to keep you motivated during this time when you cannot utilize the YMCA.
To service the needs of our community our Childcare programs will remain open until further notice for those families who need to remain in the workforce. We ask that you please do not send your child if care is not needed or if they are not feeling well.
During this closure, we will provide updates and information directly to staff, members and participants via email. We will also be posting information to our website and social media channels
