Bradford County Branch YMCA

MORNING CLASSES: If the Towanda Area School District has a TWO HOUR DELAY or CLOSING, the 8:30AM group fitness classes and morning child watch will be CANCELED. If Towanda Area School District has a TWO HOUR DELAY the 10am classes will continue as scheduled. If Towanda Area School District is CLOSED, 10am classes will also be cancelled.

Eastern Lycoming Branch YMCA

Please follow the Muncy School District as a guide weekdays for inclement weather:

If there is a morning delay– no morning classes and no morning Child Watch.

If school is closed-all classes are cancelled until 4:30PM. No morning Childwatch. A decision will be made by 2:00PM in regards to evening classes.

If there is an early dismissal– all afternoon and evening classes are cancelled and no evening Childwatch or Youth Movement.

In case of evening or weekend inclement weather– the status of all classes will be determined by the Branch Executive Director or her designate. For scheduled programs, participants should contact the YMCA and/or our website. For facility closing or early closings contact the Y or look on our website/Facebook.

Jersey Shore Branch YMCA

If the Jersey Shore School District is closed or dismissed early due to weather conditions: A decision to cancel afternoon and evening Group Exercise classes along with Child Watch will be made by 2:00 pm. 

If the Jersey Shore School District has a delayed opening or is cancelled due to weather conditions: There will be no AM Group Exercise classes.

Lock Haven Branch YMCA

Competitive Gymnastics, Swim Teams and Climbing Teams: Head coaches will make a decision by 2:00 p.m. and will notify Member Services and will communicate directly. *Because School Age child care will be offered at the Lutheran Church site only; team members will not be provided with YMCA transportation. If the decision is made to hold practices, parents should use their best judgment concerning road conditions.
IF KCSD has a 2 hour delay, ALL Group Exercise Classes held before 10am will be canceled. All Group Exercise Classes held after 10A.M. will operate as scheduled. Child Watch will open at 10A.M.
If KCSD has a 3 hour delay, MORNING Group Exercise Classes will be canceled and Child Watch will be closed.
If KCSD is CLOSED for the day, ALL Group Exercise classes are canceled until 4 P.M. Child Watch will be closed all day. A decision will be made by 2P.M. in regards to all evening classes and activities.
If KCSD has an early dismissal, ALL classes are canceled until 4pm. A decision will be made by 2:00pm in regards to all evening Group exercise classes, adult/youth programs, AND Child Watch.
In case of late afternoon or evening inclement weather, the status of the facility closing early, including all Group Exercise classes AND Child Watch will be determined by the Branch Executive Director.

Tioga County Branch YMCA

If the School District is closed or dismissed early due to weather conditions: All children’s programs will be cancelled and the decision to close will be made by the executive director. Decisions for evening classes and programs will be made by 2pm. 

If the School District has a delayed opening: We will be opening on a 2 hour delay. 

Williamsport Branch YMCA

If the Williamsport School District has a morning delay, *In person Group Exercise classes will begin at 10 AM. Child Watch will also begin at 10 AM.

If the Williamsport School District is closed or remote due to weather, all Group Exercise classes, Child Watch, Youth Movement and Programming are canceled until 4pm. A decision will be made by 2:00pm in regards to all evening Group Exercise classes, Child Watch, Youth Movement, and Programming.

If the Williamsport School District has an early dismissal, please check the Branch for cancellations. A decision will be made by 2:00pm in regards to all evening Group Exercise classes, Child Watch, Youth Movement, and Programming.

In case of late afternoon, evening, or weekend inclement weather, the status of all Group Exercise classes, Child Watch, Youth Movement, and Programming will be determined by the Branch Executive Director.
