Climbing Team Rock climbing can be a lifelong sport, and that’s how we approach coaching the kids on the Y teams. We offer 3 teams, separated by age to offer developmentally appropriate programming to each group. The Teams are Teen Team (13+), A-Team (9-12), and B-Team (6-8). All teams welcome a mixture of ability levels from beginner to advance. Coaches’ break the teams into groups to give more directed, individual or small group attention on skills. The kids will have the option to compete in competitions if they wish. If not, we also offer opportunities to climb outside at the local crags. Registration for the Winter/Spring season is open! Practice starts February 1st! Participants must fill out a registration form, as well as pay for the first session, before their space is reserved. |

Progressive Gymnastics This program is for ages 5+ and is broken into 3 levels based on skill/experience. Any new participants will start in Level 1. As students progress in their abilities, they will move through levels 2 and 3, per instructor recommendation. Students who progress through level 3 and want to continue with gymnastics, can look at joining the compeitive team. All levels get expereince using the vualt, bars, beam and floor. Registration for the winter session is open! Each session is 6 weeks long and lasts 1 hour. Practice starts February 2nd at 5pm! Participants must fill out a registration form, as well as pay for the first session, before their space is reserved. The spring session will run March 23-April 29,2021. Registration will be released at a later date. |

Tot Tumbling This program is for ages 3-5 and introduces them to the basics of gymnastics. They'll learn how to point their toes, engage their core, back bend, backward roll, and toes to bar. Our instructors intoduce the participants to all types of gymnastics equipment: vault, bars, beam, and floor. As the gymnasts progress through the practices, they may advance to the progressive classes per our instructors recommendation. Registration for the winter session is open! Each session is 6 weeks long and lasts 45mins. Practice starts February 2nd at 4pm! Participants must fill out aregistration form, as well as pay for the first session, before their space is reserved. The spring session will run March 23-April 29,2021. Registration will be released at a later date. |
