When you need convenient and affordable before and after school care, this program is for you!

The YMCA's Before and After School Program serves children from Kindergarten to age 12 within the Williamsport and Loyalsock School Districts. More importantly, it helps youth realize who they are and what they can achieve by reinforcing positive values in a caring atmosphere, with activities designed to help kids make friends and grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit. The balanced program supports academic achievement, fosters health and wellness and instills positive social-emotional skills through:

• Literacy and Reading
• STEAM activities 
• Service-Learning 
• Physical Activity
• Learning Support
• Healthy Snacks
• Character Development

And, don't forget about our Out of School Days program, when school's out, the Y is in! Students enrolled in our program can join us during school holidays, snow days and in-service days for activities that are a sure way to keep kids having fun and learning along the way.

2023 Programs:

Williamsport Area School District

Hosted at Cochran Primary, Curtin Intermediate, and Jackson Primary Schools

Care is offered Monday - Friday from 6:30am until the start of school and end of school until 6:00pm. 

Cost: Before OR After - $72/week per child
         Before AND After - $87/week per child  

Loyalsock Township School District:

Hosted at the Loyalsock Child Care Center

Care is offered Monday - Friday from 6:30am until the start of school and from the end of school until 5:30pm. Children are bused to and from school.
