Robert joined the Williamsport YMCA in October 2012.  He immediately began attending the Active Older Adult classes which focus on Strength, Range of Movement, Balance, Flexibility, Coordination, and Agility.  Since joining the Y and participating in the age appropriate classes he’s found that he has a lot more endurance and energy to complete his daily tasks.  He just doesn’t feel so tired anymore.  He’s also seen a chiropractor for years due to an old work related injury leading to neck and shoulder issues.  Since exercising his chiropractor has commented on how much easier it is to manipulate his neck and shoulders and that the manipulation holds for a longer period of time due to him strengthening the surrounding muscles.
