When you need convenient and affordable before and after school care, this program is for you!
The YMCA's Before and After School Program serves children from Kindergarten to age 12 within the Keystone Central School District. More importantly, it helps youth realize who they are and what they can achieve by reinforcing positive values in a caring atmosphere, with activities designed to help kids make friends and grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit. The balanced program supports academic achievement, fosters health and wellness and instills positive social-emotional skills through:
- Literacy and Reading
- STEAM activities
- Service-Learning
- Physical Activity
- Homework Support
- Healthy Snacks
- Character Development
Don't forget about our Out of School Days program, when school's out, the Y is in! Students enrolled in our program can join us during school holidays, snow days and in-service days for activities that are a sure way to keep kids having fun and learning along the way.
Keystone Central School District:
Includes transportation from school to the Lock Haven YMCA or Lutheran Church Site, snack, homework help, crafts, gross motor activities, and fun experiences. Care available until 6pm. This plan also includes in-service days, holiday weeks, 2-hour delays, and early dismissals. Also offered at Mill Hall Elementary School.
Includes transportation from the Lock Haven YMCA Riverview Room to school. Bus leaves at 7:05pm. Care begins at 6am. Cereal or breakfast bars are provided. Gym play and small activities.
Includes everything that before and after school care includes.
*Scholarships available for those who qualify.
